References to "Jiva Consulting", "we", "us" or "our" mean Jiva Consulting (Private Limited), registered in Pakistan. References to "you" or "client" mean the individual or entity using our services.

Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Jiva Consulting's website and services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and agree to be bound by them. If you are accessing our services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Modifications
Jiva Consulting reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
Our Services
Scope of Services
Jiva Consulting provides education consulting services including university selection guidance, application assistance, personal statement review, visa documentation support, scholarship identification, and pre-departure counseling. Our services are advisory in nature and are designed to support — not replace — your own informed decision-making.
No Guarantee of Admission
While we strive to provide the highest quality guidance, Jiva Consulting does not guarantee admission to any university or institution. Admission decisions rest solely with the receiving institutions. We are not responsible for any institution's decision to admit, reject, defer, or waitlist any applicant.
No Guarantee of Visa Approval
Similarly, visa and immigration decisions are made exclusively by the relevant government authorities of the destination country. Jiva Consulting's support in preparing documentation does not guarantee visa approval. We are not liable for any visa refusal, delay, or additional requirements imposed by immigration authorities.
Client Responsibilities
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information to Jiva Consulting at all times. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information — including in application materials, academic records, or personal statements — may result in immediate termination of services without refund, and may have serious legal consequences in the context of university applications and visa procedures.
Timely Cooperation
Successful applications depend on meeting deadlines. You are responsible for providing all required documents, completing assigned tasks, and responding to our counselors' communications in a timely manner. Jiva Consulting is not liable for missed deadlines or lost opportunities resulting from your failure to cooperate promptly.
Final Review
You are responsible for thoroughly reviewing all application materials, personal statements, and documents before submission. By authorising submission, you confirm the contents are accurate and represent your own work, ideas, and experiences where required.
Fees & Payment
Service Fees
Service fees will be communicated to you clearly before engagement begins. Fees vary depending on the scope of services selected (e.g., single university application, full package, visa-only support). All fees are stated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment Terms
A non-refundable registration fee is due upon signing the service agreement. Remaining fees are typically structured in instalments tied to service milestones. Detailed payment schedules will be provided in your individual service agreement.
Refund Policy
As our services involve significant professional time and effort, fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced on a particular service phase. Refund eligibility in exceptional circumstances (e.g., service cancellation by Jiva Consulting) will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please refer to your individual service agreement for specific refund terms.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on the Jiva Consulting website, including text, graphics, logos, images, guides, and software, is the property of Jiva Consulting and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all personal documents, academic records, and original written materials you provide to us. By submitting materials, you grant Jiva Consulting a limited, non-exclusive licence to use those materials solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed consulting services.
Limitation of Liability
Advisory Nature of Services
Jiva Consulting's services are advisory only. We do not act as your legal representative, immigration agent (unless separately licensed), or guarantor. Any decisions you make based on our advice are ultimately your own responsibility.
Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jiva Consulting's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Jiva Consulting in the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Prohibited Conduct
You May Not
Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations; submit fraudulent, plagiarised, or misleading application materials; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data; reproduce or resell our proprietary guides, templates, or materials; harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or counselors; or misrepresent your relationship with Jiva Consulting to third parties, including universities and embassies.
Consequences
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate termination of services without refund. Jiva Consulting reserves the right to report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities, including universities and immigration bodies, as required by law.
Governing Law & Disputes
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Karachi, Pakistan, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. The language of arbitration shall be English. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
